About
Dr. Faraj Hwidi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a Masters and PhD in Micro-Eye Surgery (Fidarov Institute). Dr. Faraj is the first to introduce myopia in Ministry of Health hospitals. He was one of the first doctors to form the base of myopia and aberration correction in Jordan in 1992. He holds a bachelor's degree in general medicine with an excellent grade with honors. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the International Society for Vision Correction. Since 1993, he has gained extensive experience and Dr. Faraj has been conducting various operations related to correcting myopia and astigmatism. He has also been invited from several hospitals in the Sultanate of Oman and Dubai as a visiting doctor to perform laser myopia correction in the period (1994-2001) in addition to his visit to Downtown Hospital in Dubai. During his career, Dr. Faraj has performed many laser vision correction procedures for many patients from inside and outside Jordan. He is currently working in his clinic located on Khalidi Street.
