Dr. Omar Ali Alqam is a specialist in psychiatry and addiction treatment, holds the Jordanian Board of Psychiatry, and is a member of the Jordanian Psychiatric Association. Dr. Omar Ali Alqam obtained a bachelor’s degree in General Medicine and Surgery from the University of Science and Technology in Egypt and was one of the first in his class where his name was issued the honor board, and then he trained at Al-Hussein Medical City and his name was issued the honor board during this period as well. Dr. Omar Ali Alqam specialized in Al-Rasheed Hospital Center for four years and also finished his specialization on the honor board. During this period, he worked as a chief resident and was responsible for the educational and training program for medical students for several Jordanian universities. Dr. Omar Ali Alqam is one of those interested in raising awareness in mental health, voluntary and community work, as he has many partnerships with several national and social institutions. Dr. Omar Ali Alqam treats many psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosis, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, addiction and many other disorders. Dr. Omar Ali Alqam is currently working in his clinic within an integrated psychological team to provide the best possible care.
